UI Artist

As a UI Artist, you will work closely with technical and creative leadership to create and manage 2D assets, shape and develop the user interface for the Payday franchise. You will be involved at every stage of the process, from early inception through to implementation. This is truly a once in a career opportunity!

Job Tasks:

- Work closely with production and game design to produce solutions to meet product goals.

- Work on an established IP and contribute by delivering visually appealing, informative and responsive user interfaces in support of UX designs, gameplay and product goals.

- Create assets and deliverables that live up to the aesthetic & technical goals of our products, both pre and post-launch.

Must Have:

- At least 2+ years of experience influencing UI/UX development within games development.

- Strong knowledge of layout, typography, iconography and motion graphics.

- Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills.

- Proficient in 2D art packages such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and/or After Effects.

- Experience with implementing and managing 2D art assets within Game Engines.

- A passion for video games and user interface design.

Good to Have:

- Experience prototyping in Game Engines.

- Basic knowledge and understanding of game development code.

To Be Successful in this position you are:

- As fanatical about iconography and typography as you are about layout and composition.
