Our mission

Sweetspot’s mission is to help golf facilities worldwide to reach their full potential. By offering amongst other things a booking system, marketing tools and strategic partnerships we can offer a full service solution toward our partners. In addition to that we provide revenue management and business intelligence tools for facilities to constantly improve their setup.

Progress

Sweetspot was founded in 2016 and provides golf facilities with a state-of-the-art, data driven revenue management system. Sweetspot collects data and provides insights in addition to a number of tools to help companies optimize their business and achieve their set goals.

Sweetspot has grown year-on-year, both regarding partners and employees. We’re currently 35+ team members and we have plans to be many more.

The challenge

- Work with tech debt
- Legacy refactoring
- Improve current features and code base
- Learn new patterns and approaches

What you will do:

As an engineer at Sweetspot you’ll work on many different aspects of the product. You’ll work in one of our four cross-functional teams.

- Collaborate with our client and mobile teams to define a scalable and extensible API
- Collaborate with product owners to understand our customers
- Write business logic that directly impact uses

Who you are:

- Middle or Senior level expertise and passion for coding with PHP
- Knowledge of professional software engineering e.g. SOLID-principles, Clean Code, Separation of Concerns, DDD, Layered and Hexagonal architecture
- Working experience with Symfony/REST API/GraphQL will be a big plus
- E-Commerce/Booking experience will be a big plus
- English - Intermediate+.
- Competitive, self-propelled and enjoy working toward your targets
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a goal of digitising an industry

Besides our basic requirements, you should feel comfortable with our technology stack. We do not expect that you are an expert in all fields, but some of them should be familiar to you.

- Backend: PHP ≥ 7, MySQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch, Symfony ≥ 4.4 and Symfony components, Composer, Git
- System: Docker, Laravel Valet
