Software Engineer Secure Platform

Your roll

We are developing and maintaining the Secure Software Platform. The platform is used for a variety of our Saab products including our 9LV combat management system for naval platforms, ranging from combat and patrol boats, to frigates, aircraft carriers, as well as submarines.

You will be joining a proficient team and be surrounded by committed, ambitious and helpful colleagues. You will mainly be located in our Järfälla office. The teams are responsible for modules in different areas, Orchestration, Installation, Security, Application services and Pipeline/DevOps.

Here you have a large impact of how the future defence platform will look. Working with competent colleagues and interesting customers and products.

Your profile

We believe you are curious, thorough, positive - but most importantly, you are a team player. Perhaps you have previously coached more junior colleagues to grow into sharp software developers and want to continue to do so.

For us it is of great importance that we deliver complex software safety critical systems with high quality and we believe that you are working with that today.

You are following design patterns such as SOLID to successfully build modules that are simple to maintain, easy to extend but above all easy to use in several similar systems. You may have specialized or come into contact with one or more of the following areas:

IP, vlan, routing, firewalls

Linux
*

Kubernetes, Docker
*

IT security, Trusted Platform Module (TPM), UEFI booting, secure booting
*

Active Directory (AD), Samba, LDAP
*

Ansible
*

Web and Python development

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply

What you will be a part of

Business Area Surveillance provides efficient solutions for safety and security, for surveillance and decision support, and for threat detection and protection. The portfolio covers airborne, ground-based and naval radar, electronic warfare, combat systems and C4I solutions, and Cyber Security. You will take in part in developing a Secure Cyber Platform for the needs of today and tomorrow.
