Dfind are looking for consultants to one of our esteemed clients and they need more resources in a department developing and maintaining an EPG product. They are in the middle of an exciting transition from functionality based on traditional platforms to virtual platforms, which brings an extra challenge regarding verification.

The department is working according to Lean and Agile methodologies with focus on increased speed, quality and empowerment. Innovation and improvements are important in their day-to-day business. The goal is to spend 10% of our time within this area.

They are looking for someone who is passionate about SW development and feel pride in delivering value for the customers. You love working with others in a team and are open to both give and get feedback. They see openness and transparency as very important personal skills.

Job Summary:

As a developer in a cross-functional team you will participate in tasks within System Management, Design, Function Test, System Test and CPI. You will get the possibility to grow within all these disciplines.

For this specific position, the emphasis will be on Design in the PGW Connectivity area. This gives you a great opportunity to develop programming, troubleshooting, test design and verification skills.

You will also gain system understanding through participation in Early Phases and Test Analysis.

Qualifications:

Apart from a passion for SW development, there are several competencies that are beneficial for this position. First of all SW Product Development Knowledge is of course very important. On top of that, knowledge about C/C++, object oriented programming and design, IP-protocols, IP based routing and UNIX/Linux is needed.

The following competences are not deemed mandatory, but are considered a strongpoint if you possess knowledge: Telecom, Datacom, EPG Product, Python, Perl, GIT and the local tools Dallas and EPGCATS.

Minimum Qualification and Experience Requirements

- Bachelor or Master Degree within Computer Science or Electrical Engineering

- Good English language skills, both verbal and written’
