Build System Engineer - Gothenburg

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Build System Engineer who is experienced in embedded software development and can build systems and pipelines.

What you'll do:

● Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.

● Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.

● Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.

● Ensuring that an organization is operating at maximum efficiency, from manufacturing to distribution.

● Engaging in quality control procedures to ensure that systems are efficient and operational.

Who you are:

● Solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, Ruby, NGINX).

● Proven track record of installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UNIX-based systems.

● Have experience creating scripts (e.g., using Perl, Ruby, Python) and setting up software for automation.

● Exceptional knowledge of networking technologies (OSI network layers, TCP/IP).

● Excellent communication, teamwork skills, inter-personal and Organizational skills.
