Summer Internship 2023

Our passion at Opera is to create new products and services to bring the whole world online. We are seeking motivated, talented students who want to contribute to the development of our large-scale consumer products.

An internship at Opera can be more than a summer placement. It can also serve as stepping-stone career experiences to permanent or part-time employment with Opera. We offer a positive, fun work atmosphere where you can really make a difference!

In our Swedish offices, in Linköping and Gothenburg, we are working on the next versions of our browsers on Android. To do this, we are digging deep into the inner workings of Blink and Chromium. We are creating beautiful user interfaces while constantly striving to innovate and improve the browsing experience even further. Opera Mini and Opera for Android, with their 250 million-plus users, were born and created in Sweden.

For the summer of 2023, we are looking for developers and UX-designers to join us in Linköping for 2-3 months.

For developers, tasks may vary from extending testing frameworks, building and extending development tools to contributing directly to new features in our products. This type of work requires good programming skills and the ability to take initiative and work independently.
