Senior Software Engineer for Plusius

Wiccon is hiring for Plusius, we are searching for experience in a diverse range of sectors, from mobile app development to payment processing systems.

You are expected to be able to speak directly with clients and understand their requirements working to turn the requirements into maintainable code.

Work is carried out in an agile environment, teams have the ability to run projects independently with control over the development process.

The majority of the work relates to building APIs and data manipulation. We work in the Microsoft stack, C# .Net (Core), Azure and SQL.

Our clients come to us to ask for help with building IT systems. Sometimes the system is just an idea in their head, developers are a part of that journey from day one. Assisting to map out requirements and designing systems to achieve what the client wants.

The company has projects built in a monolithic architecture as well as projects built in microservice architecture.

Job Responsibilities

• Given a project can work with architects to design and implement a system that meets requirements.
• Can design a system that is simple to maintain from code base to architectural approach.
• Documents testing, error resolutions, and overall software development process.
• Analyses and resolves errors within any system.
• Maintains and upgrades existing systems.
• Collaborates with others effectively.

.NET Developer Job Requirements

• Experience and ability is essential, years of experience is secondary.
• Demonstrable experience in .Net C#, LINQ and Entity Framework.
• Demonstrable experience in building APIs within the .Net framework.
• Experience creating applications in the cloud preferably Azure.
• Experience creating backend systems for mobile applications.
• Experience with GIT and Azure DevOps.
• Excellent critical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective at time management.
• Good collaborative skills.
• Experience in Docker and Kubernetes is beneficial.
• 
  
• Experience creating and maintaining Azure DevOps pipelines is a bonus.
