System Tester at NDO Gateway, PDU Packet Core

We are now looking for a new consultant for our Telecom customer.

NDO GW have 46 cross functional teams, 11 run way team and 8 LSV regression teams, located in Lindholmen, Shanghai, Madrid or Shenzhen. They have an automated Continuous Integration wheel and automated (both execution and verdict) regression tests, both of functional- and system requirements. They are working according to Lean and Agile methodologies with focus on increased speed, quality and empowerment. Their target is to deliver software (with quality) to customers every week from a single Latest System Version (LSV). A major challenge in this transition is to have automated verification, both execution and verdict, in both functional and system verification.

We are looking for a skilled, self-motivated System Tester to join our clients Test Only team, team Himalayas, within NDO Gateway. You will verify that their new platform works well with their application. The team consists of testers with a broad understanding of our EPG product. They are responsible for troubleshooting low level software faults and HW faults and developing features. They work according to scrum principals and have a good collaboration with their Product Owner.

As a System Tester you verify non-functional requirements of EPG (Evolved Packet Gateway), meaning system capacity and characteristics, robustness and stability, as well as installation and replacement. You developed automated test cases that will be used in our test executions and in the analysis of test results, since this enables fast feedback loops and possibility to continuously deliver.

Qualifications:

We would like you to be/have:

• Passionate to troubleshoot complex problems

• Enjoy communication and team work.

• To be an excellent tester you need to understand System Test Methodology and Test Automation

• Good knowledge in Python, LINUX/UNIX, IP routing and networks.

• Lean and Agile knowledge and skills

Minimum Experience Requirements

• BSc level in a technical discipline or the equivalent level of knowledge

• English Skills
