Infotainment Software Engineer - Linux BSP

The Koenigsegg Software and Electronics department is responsible for designing, developing software and electronic control units (ECUs) and supporting tools for all Koenigsegg's cars. We are working very closely with the other engineering departments, production and service/aftersales. We are now looking to expand the team with a skilled and experienced software linux engineer with the ability to transform product requirements and production needs to state of the art solutions and also further advance and bring in new technologies into our in-vehicle infotainment system deployed in our cars.

The responsibilities associated with this position put a strong requirement on your ability to cooperate with other departments in other technical domains. The development activities are primarily focused on linux embedded systems within the in-vehicle infotainment team.

Responsibilities

- Develop software in C and C++ for Linux BSP and AOSP platforms.
- Work with electronics team doing platform bring-up and device driver development.
- Work with application/UI developers developing middleware software.
- Support debugging and root cause analysis on Koenigsegg vehicles.

Need to have

- Experience in Linux BSP development, board bring-up, device driver development.
- Several years of working experience within relevant field of expertise.
- Proficient in C/C++ on embedded platforms.
- High standards for code quality, maintainability, and performance.
- Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Hands-on approach to problem solving.
- Fluency in English.

Meritorious

- Experience working with Android Open Source Project (AOSP) development.
- Experience working with CAN bus protocols.
- Experience in troubleshooting automotive electrical systems.
- Experience of version control and build systems.
- Experience working with Java/Kotlin.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash.
