YOU WILL

Our teams carry out both frontend Android and iOS development as well as our backend for front-end facade, your primary focus will be on the development of the iOS mobile app, but with the opportunity to learn from your peers, broaden your skills and experience within the other system parts.

As an iOS Software Developer, you will design, develop and maintain the Scania iOS mobile applications for iPhone and iPad and be involved in the entire journey from start to end. Engage and work together with the rest of the team and actively work towards our common team goals. You will write testable code and unit tests as well as review your peer’s code along with maintaining the code and atomization of the application. In addition to that, following technical trends and raising innovative new features will also be part of your daily work.

YOU ARE

As a person, you have a great passion for new technologies, and software development by creating great user experiences together with UX and service designers. Being helpful to your colleagues and getting inspired by taking up the task that is most important for the team to progress and always with a positive and easy-going mindset. You are familiar with Agile ways of working with test-driven development. In addition to that, you have strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills as well as communicating fluently in English verbally and in writing.

IN ORDER TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE, WE ALSO SEE THAT YOU HAVE:

• A couple of years of experience in mobile application software development.
• Demonstrated experience in SwiftUI, Combine, Objective-C, and Swift.
• Expertise working with reusable and scaleable app architectures (MVVM Kotlin multiplatform).
• Expertise working with Github and Git.
• Experience in consuming RESTful services.
• Academic degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Experience in Cloud (AWS) and .Net are meritorious.
