Full stack developer to Service Sales

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Our team’s purpose is to create and take care of the heart of our services. The system we work with is used both by our service teams within Sales and Marketing to create customer value, and by our distributors. We are currently finishing our journey from on prem to the cloud (AWS) and have a very exciting journey ahead of us. To be able to meet customer and user expectations, we are adding team members of different capabilities to create the best possible team; among these capabilities we are searching for an inspiring full stack developer.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with a system at the centre of attention. Someone who thrives from working in a team with people from different backgrounds and with different perspectives. You are a good communicator and an active listener, always trying to understand your team mates’ perspectives while contributing with your own. This is a big asset while working with a big team of developers, testers, product owners, product manager, concept developer, user experience designer, and service designer. We have team members both in Sweden and in Romania and we are soon adding a smaller team in Poland as well, so you feel comfortable and communicate well in English.

You are passionate about coding and problem solving, and you feel very confident with .Net Core, C#,  and Angular. CI/CD is an integrated part of your daily work, and you might even have experience working in AWS, which is great since we are moving our entire activity there in the upcoming months. Other technologies we are working with are RESTful Web APIs, Entity Framework Core; and RDS aurora and DynamoDB.

The job is a great motivator for you, but you are also interested in getting to know the team and being part of creating a warm, welcoming, and open culture where we succeed or learn as a team.

Team Responsibilities

Being a central system in our service creation, you are part of a cross functional team where you will be responsible for finding the best solution to our requirements. You will work closely with both technical and business competencies and we are looking for someone who is interested in understanding the business value we create while coding.

At the moment we are lifting our system to the cloud (AWS) and next year we have an exciting roadmap ahead of us containing customer self-service, lifting our invoicing to the cloud, data quality, data analytics, integrating our system to the beginning of the sales process, among other areas.

We are looking for someone to take on these with a good attitude, energy, and a will to experiment and learn together with the rest of the team in order to enable the best value creation possible for our customers.
