Assignment Description:

We are looking for an Embedded Developer for Embedded Development Solutions (EDS), to work with the development and maintenance of our products together with the development of our technical work environment.

What you'll do:

● Serving the developers within EDS with services that make the company efficient in their work takes place within the Tools & Infrastructure team.

● Operation and development of the company's construction environment on Windows and Linux, Jira, scripting and system configuration with Ansible.

● DevOps-related work in the areas that the requests for competencies below concern, or where you can contribute with additional / other skills that are valuable to the team.

● Design, develop and maintain the embedded remote functions which will relate to the application.

● Engage with the rest of the team, actively pull tasks from the backlog and write testable code as well as unit and component tests.

● Develop elegant solutions for complex problems and actively contribute to post-release maintenance issues.

● Keeping up to date with C++ standards and advancements in application development.

Who you are:

● BSc degree in a computer related field or equivalent work experience as an embedded C++ software developer or be a passionate spare time developer.

● Comfortable with using System administration of Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows, Programming in Ruby, bash and Powershell, and System configuration with Ansible.

● Technical experience with PXE/TFTP, Clonezilla, Docker, both on Linux and Windows, Automation in Jira, Git, Gitlab, Subversion, and DevOps in a cloud/hybrid environment.

● Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills on English language.
