We are looking for a skilled software quality engineer with experience from advanced helpdesk and product maintenance to our R&D department in Gothenburg. Working tasks You will be an important part in the processes of maintaining the quality of Ascom products such as Android 3G phones, Wifi and Dect phones and IP Dect basestations. You will be responsible for the complete handling, co-ordination and administrative work of assigned trouble tickets. That includes responsibility for planning, prioritizing and reporting progress, as well as divergences, of your own work. You are also providing stakeholders with technical advice as well as publishing technical news. As a complement to this role, software testing may be included at times. This means working with test case design, execute tests and report result.
You will co-operate with colleagues within Ascom worldwide as well as customers and suppliers. You need to be able to do some travel in this position.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a comparable technical background. Fluent in Swedish and English in speech and writing Great technical knowledge Working experience from software maintenance Willingness to take lead and coordinate            
We are looking for a person that has been working with software maintenance for 3-5 years. You are used to working with product quality and functionality. It is meritorious if you have been working with software testing. Experience from working within Life science and ticket tools such as Jira is also meritorious.
As a person you are driven, communicative, meticulous and quality conscious. You are also able to work independently, have great cooperative skills as well as being results-oriented. You should have a big interest in working with improvements, a distinct analytical side and feel comfortable within a social and flexible role.
For this position, great emphasis will be put on personal characteristics.
