Software engineer – Simulations

We are part of the Material Handling Applications Department with the responsibility to develop software for all our products related to the application Material Handling.
We are working in an environment of several committed development teams. where the teams have deep knowledge within the area of automation and machine control, such as localization, navigation, path planning, assisted functions as well as tele-remote solutions.
We strongly believe in simulation as a powerful development tool which will support us in our goal to work smarter, faster and deliver high quality functionality at a high rate. The future will demand more advanced functions, where simulation will be required to develop existing and future functions in an efficient way.
We are building digital twins of our machines and the environments they operate in for safe, cost efficient and reliable feature development and testing of the control system.
We develop in C# and Unity and continuously strive to improve team performance to increase our efficiency by challenging ourselves and our processes.
With better machine models and the ability to verify how the machine will operate in different environments at an early stage we can shorten our lead times.
Hence, Modeling and Simulation is an important area for us to make our test and verification process more efficient.
Developing and maintaining our simulation framework. Providing the developers and testers of the control system with high end digital twins for feature development, testing and continuous integration. This includes for example:
• Modeling the hydraulics system and powertrains for diesel and battery machines
• Construct realistic environments for the machine to operate in.
Self-driven team player with a focus on collaboration.
Hold a Master of Science in relevant area or have similar experience.
Curious and interested in software development for machine control of manually operated and autonomous products.
Experience from modeling and simulation, knowledge in game development and 3D modeling tools.
You are passionate about creating high quality solutions, interest in big yellow machines and like to work in an international environment.
English in written and verbal communication / Swedish a plus.
