Frontend Developer

The teams
At Axis we have more than 10 teams of talented and innovative Frontend Engineers and with your application you will reach all of us. We, the managers, want to make it easy for you to find the perfect team for you so when you sent in your application you just answer a couple of questions and we´ll do the match for you. Senior or junior? It doesn't matter, we have exiting opportunities no matter what.

Our teams work cross functionally in projects to develop and deliver world class products! If you are a junior, you will have many experienced developers who wants to support you and help you develop. If you are a senior, you will have great exchange with other experienced engineers.

Our different teams are small empowered agile teams who support each other, cooperate to reach their goals together and who have a lot of fun when doing it. And one thing for sure; teamwork, collaboration and openness to each other's ideas are essential to everyone at Axis.

Many of our teams has Innovation days and Free Fridays where you can freely experiment your ideas. We put trust in our teams to decide what's the right way of working, what tools to use and which ideas to try, a freedom that needs to be experienced!

The role
You will play an important role writing well designed, efficient, scalable, readable and testable code.

You will also make use of coding standards, code reviews, documentation and testing to ensure quality. Continuous sharing and spreading of knowledge to your coworkers through tech talk, pair programming and mob programming is a daily part of the work.

You take an early part in feature investigations and pre studies to evaluate technical solutions to problems. And you definitely have a say in how to solve upcoming problems. You will be an active member in a small agile team taking part in all the agile ceremonies such as standups, sprint planning, refinement, and retrospective.

The role depends on your own interests, where you find motivation and where you want to develop. We are on a journey working more data driven so if you are interested in the analyzing parts there will be opportunities to explore that.

Who are you?
You are curious, love challenges and to solve them in a team focused atmosphere. We believe that you get inspired by working in an environment of openness, creativity, trust, commitment, playfulness and encouragement.

You have a genuine interest in frontend development, new technologies and you enjoy exploring new areas, always putting focus on the user experience. You enjoy working unpretentious in a tight team and in that way learning from- and sharing your expertise to your talented colleagues.

We'd love to hear that you have/are:

* Experience in Typescript and React.
* Want to work in small agile teams
* Have experience of working in close collaboration with UX-designers to create the best possible user experience.
* Hobby projects or equivalent that shows your passion for programing and developing
* Other relevant experience; Javascript, HTML, CSS, Go, Cloud and Node JS.
* Bachelor or Master´s degree within a relevant area
