UI/UX Designer

About the role

We are now looking for a creative and driven UI/UX designer who has experience in app design. If you have a keen eye for design and the ambition to improve your skills in an innovative environment, you could be the one we are looking for.

As a UI/UX designer at Stepler, you will be involved in the overall product development process by creating designs that motivate and guide our users in a fun and creative way. You will work on everything from research to design as well as having a close collaboration with developers and Q&A about the implementation.

In addition to product development, you will also have a key role in ensuring that all visual elements communicated by the organization are in line with the Steplers brand guidelines.

We are looking for:

• Works mainly in Figma but also can manage other tools such as Photoshop, After effects and Illustrator. (If you have experience working in Jira/confluence, it's a bonus but not a requirement.)
• Is good at working in a high paced environment.
• A team player with an open and collaborative mindset who focuses on execution and finds the right balance between being pragmatic and pushing the boundaries.
• Good communicative abilities, able to clearly present your ideas for stakeholders through user stories, prototypes, and design.
• Bonus if you have experience in game psychology and game design.
• Communicates in Swedish and English.
• Someone who wants to motivate people to a healthier lifestyle.

What you’ll do:

• Drive design projects across the entire product lifecycle. You set the vision for the user experience and create the space for others to collaborate.
• Work closely with designers, developers and product teams such as other teams in the organization.
• Turn ideas and strategies into concrete concepts and designs that can be discussed, reviewed and praised, and guide us on the journey. Together we solve problems and find solutions that make our users happy.
• Help define product requirements by engaging with users and the business.
