Senior Frontend Engineer

We are looking for a person passionate about developer experience and with a clear concept of what great looks like, to join our team. Your new home would be Billogram’s Platform team where the goal is: Make everyday life easier for our developers. You will contribute to this goal by taking ownership of our frontend platform. You will have to coordinate with the frontend developers across our teams, maintain and further develop the frontend platform with regards to any aspect that improves working with it; from deployments to application structure to design system, turning the frontend platform into a complete toolbox.

We think that you:

• Have extensive experience in React, Typescript, webpack and ESLint - as this is the tech stack
• Understand the concept of GraphQL
• Understand the concept of CI/CD.
• Can visualize the bigger picture and coordinate with others to take steps towards that goal.

What will be your focus? 👀

• Create tools and workflows to standardize how other teams build and deploy frontend components.
• Write documentation around the frontend and how best to utilize it.
• Keep tools and software up to date with current versions.
• Spend time coordinating with, and supporting, developers when they implement the frontend components into the Billogram product.
• Implement better practices through standards and guidelines.

We’re Billogram and we do digital invoicing because we think traditional invoicing is lame. It’s basically anxiety on a paper, filled with apprehension (did I pay my invoices? Did our customer get their invoice?) and when done wrong it can waste so much time and energy. Time and energy that both sender and recipient could spend doing something else.

It’s not the easiest thing to solve – we want both sender and recipient to have the best experience possible but since their interests don’t always align it’s up to us to come up with smart solutions to satisfy both parties. Come build those smart solutions with us!

At Billogram you’ll have lots of great colleagues, a super homey office smack in the middle of Stockholm, but if you want to work remote even after this pandemic business that’s totally fine by us, flexible working hours, lots of interesting challenges and a whole bunch of laughs.
