Backend & Infrastructure Engineer

What You´ll Do

You will be developing and maintaining the backend services and cloud infrastructure.

The tech team is small but shoulders a lot of responsibility, working autonomously with a great degree of freedom. This puts expectations on the applicant to be self-propelled, curious, documentation-driven, and obsessed with automation. Being an early startup, we often end up doing stuff we didn't expect, so an agile mindset is needed.

• Modern back-end service engineering, e.g.
• Containerisation
• CI/CD
• Networking
• Serverless computing
• Variety of database solutions
• API design
• Microservices
• Cloud ops experience (ideally GCP)
• Experience designing and running ML/data pipelines in production
• Comfortable with Typescript
• Enjoy functional programming
• Automation addict
• Pragmatic code quality inquisitor
• Terminal native
• English - full professional level
