Our consultant pool consist of Swedish and non Swedish consultants within the fields of embedded systems telecommunication, online solutions and application development. Now we are looking for new candidates to come work with us as consultants, on-site with our customers in Sweden.

As an embedded S/W developer within one of the major telecommunication companies in Sweden, you will work with S/W development focusing on modem / application processor communication, Android applications interfacing the modem and bring-up of smartphone configurations using different application processors. You will work in a team of 8-15 people. All type of SW development tasks, from design to functional test, will be part of this position. As a team member you need to be positive, open minded, cooperative, responsive and communicative.

Requested competence (please make sure this is documented in your CV)
*) Embedded system knowledge
*) Documented S/W development skills in C language
*) Experience form working with external interfaces to the SoC, LLI, PCIe, UART, I2C (all or some of these)
*) Advanced troubleshooting and debugging using Lauterbach
*) Good English skills

Preferred skills:
*) Linux kernel development experience
*) IP Knowledge
*) Android system knowledge
*) Experience of working in agile development teams

Location: Lund, Sweden
Start: fall 2014.
Duration: 12-24 months on-site in Sweden, with a high probability for extension.
Extent: Full-time, 40h/week. Paid overtime can be requested by the customer.
Compensation: Negotiable. We offer a competitive salary, primarily in the form of a longterm employment and according to Swedish standards; governmental pension plan, five weeks paid vacation, iPad/laptop, mobile phone with data plan subscription, priority medical care insurance, health care insurance, income level insurance, work liability insurance, language course support, sports activity contribution. Paid transfer to Sweden including registered partner and children. When applicable, family members will get permit to live and work in Sweden.
For Schengen-citizens, there is also an option to undertake the assignment as a subcontractor to Telescope.
