Job Description

At the moment we are strengthening our Stockholm team and are looking for a Developer & Solution Architect in Java. The Stockholm office has a large scope of inhouse projects for developing products within several different businesses. This includes both national and international clients for which we deliver large scale commitments. This creates expectations on us and our consultants. In order to live up to these we work actively with our strategy of ongoing development for our consultants. This through competency developing projects, seminars, trainings, collaboration, and so on. In this role you will:

• Drive the design and evolution of the architecture of the domain and understand/contribute to the domain vision and steer the architecture of the domain in this direction.
• Work closely with the teams across the domain to be aware of ongoing and planned work, identify important changes and step in when needed with assistance and guidance.
• Be involved in bigger initiatives that cross the domain borders, like defining external facing APIs, and will facilitate communication between domains when needed.
• Work on different client projects
• Design and build software applications
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
• Playing a key role in architectural and design decisions, building towards an efficient architecture.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the below knowledge and experience (we understand however you might be a strong candidate even if you can’t tick all of the boxes):

• Experience as Architect
• Solid understanding and experience of object-oriented programming (OOP)
• Sound knowledge of design patterns for writing robust code
• Hands-on experience within Microservices (preferably using the domain-driven design)
• Hands-on expertise of JPA Hibernate, Spring data
• Several years of hands-on experience in java and its related framework with extensive technical knowledge in server-side programming
• Expertise in developing web applications using Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Security
• Proficient in working with SQL databases like MySQL, MariaDB, Postgres, etc
• Previous exposure to testing tools & activities (Junit)
• Experience on Cloud (Azure or AWS)
• Experience with GIT
• Docker/Kubernetes
• Familiarity with DevOps CICD pipeline
