As an Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be leading the charge in developing and delivering our core infrastructure strategy and platforms using Microsoft Technology. Through your expertise, you can make a real impact by introducing new technologies that deliver business value and continuously improving our existing platforms.

In this role you will gain a deep understanding of the IKEA value chain and by using your hands-on experience and enterprise mindset, you will create the conditions for efficient development that help us reach our targets. Your excellent communication skills will come in handy as you clearly convey the possibilities and limitations of various technologies based on your experience. Plus, with your IKEA-level problem-solving skills, you'll be able to "flatpack" any challenges that come your way!

The purpose of the Infrastructure Engineer role is to lead the development and delivery of the core infrastructure strategy, platforms, and act as a role model for others. This will be achieved by “leading by holding together” meaning togetherness throughout the value chain. Delivering business value by new technologies and continuously develop the existing platforms is the normal for us.

Everyone’s skills are different, but here are some of the technical skills that could help you to be successful in this role;

· Significant knowledge of infrastructure products and platforms both on-prem and cloud.

· In depth experience of automating infrastructure by code or scripting e.g., PowerShell, Nod.js, C#, C++

· Vast experience of Windows Operating system, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory.

· Good knowledge of Azure Cloud Services

· Excellent understanding of IAM

This is a full time role (40 hours per week) based in Älmhult or Malmö, Sweden reporting to the Product Area Manager for Core Infrastructure.
