We are an embedded software team with a true team spirit. We believe in building an open and trusting environment to be able to have fun and learn whilst delivering great products. In our projects we collaborate with different competence areas such as mechanics, electronics, industrial design and together we develop the complete product. The team consists of both junior and senior software developers.
As your manager I believe in the power of building a team where the team is the driving force for how we want to work. The team members are the experts and I'm the one supporting and helping along the way so that you do your work in the best way possible.
What does your job in the team look like?
* In a Linux embedded system develop software both in Linux kernel space and user space.
* Develop software for MCU, Bare-Metal or using FreeRTOS.
* Evaluate and decide on HW to be used in product (together with HW team).
* Find solutions to complex problems in a large and complex code base.
* Design software.
* Use Git and Gerrit to version handle the C code and to review the C code.
* Writing test cases in Python.

As a senior developer in our team you will have a lot of possibilities to take lead in different areas depending on your interest, e.g. the software design and architecture, the agile process, the team effectiveness, or the coaching of our younger engineers. On the other hand, if you as a person just loves to do the coding, welcome, we have a huge need for you. As a senior developer in our team you will have a lot of possibilities to make a difference.
We'd love to hear that you have/are:
* A strong personal drive.
* Communicative and enjoy teamwork.
* Capable of reading and understanding a HW schematic.
* Broad experience in large system design and implementation
* Strong programming skills in embedded Linux, C and Python.
* Skills in network and video streaming development. (optional but really good)
* Degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, electrical engineering or similar.
