Tech Lead - Payments

The Payments teams is on a mission to build the best e-commerce checkout there is, and we are on a good path! With some of the largest e-commerce players in the Nordics as customers and partners, we process millions of transactions every month with steady growth.

As Payments Platform Tech Lead, you will have responsibility for the technical roadmap of the product to ensure that the solution is developed in line with Qliro’s target architecture. Together, you and the team will take end-to-end ownership all the way from architecting and designing to developing, deploying and operating services that serve millions of users in a DevOps manner. As part of your role in the Solutions & Architecture team, you will ensure that the wider technology strategy is represented in the daily work of the Payments Team.

You can expect to:

- Work with languages and technologies such as AWS, C# .Net, MS SQL, message queues, REST, Docker, Xunit and more.

- Take lead in our AWS migration journey, with many opportunities for learning and knowledge sharing.

- Use your coding skills hands-on while fulfilling your primary goal of leading the team to success.

- Provide technical leadership to all stages of the product life-cycle - hypothesis, design, implementation, testing, releasing, and maintenance.

- Lead architectural improvements and discussions

- Drive collaboration - We’re true believers in teamwork and the value of practices like careful code reviews, pair (or mob) programming etc. and we believe that you are too.

What you’ll bring to the team:

- Leadership skills to inspire and guide the team in the transition to a modern architecture prepared for Qliro’s current and future business needs.

- Extensive experience building complex logic in a high throughput, fault tolerant, distributed platform with a focus on reliability and uptime.

- Deep understanding of system design, data structures, API development and algorithms.

- Experience in working with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
