Spotscale is a venture-backed startup in Linköping that will change the way we perceive virtual reality and virtual buildings in particular. Friends with the Oculus team, Google and other big brands in the space, Spotscale are applying computer vision on a research level to generate our world in 3D. Customers such as EPIC Games (Unreal) are praising the small team of curious engineers. A unique blend of technologies is forming our playground. 3D printers, Drones, Cameras and VR-glasses.

Spotscale is a 3D technology company that offers products and services for real estate developers, city planners and resort owners who need extremely precise digital and physical models of buildings and surroundings. Spotscale’s proprietary capturing and processing solution delivers photo-realistic images that can be viewed and manipulated close up and from any vantage point on a tablet or computer, or used with full color 3D printers to create miniature physical scale models.

This Opportunity
Spotscale are constantly growing and right now we need to strengthen the team with a Lead Developer that is both a skilled developer and a natural interface to the business side of things. As a Lead Developer you will be responsible for the system architecture as well as the agile planning of the development. You are the natural person to hold the stand-up meetings and is at the same time producing code most of the time. In order to fit in you need to have several years of programming experience preferably in C++ and insights in large system architectures. It’s a bonus if you are also good at JavaScript front end coding and have some experience with 3D

We expect you to be fluent in both Swedish and English. We do not hire based on experience with a number of tools, years of experience or university degrees. Instead, we value candidates who are bright, creative, and driven, and have an interest in learning new techniques and tools, as well as an ability to adapt quickly to changes.
