What you'll do

When purchasing a car, our customers are taken through a journey that starts at Polestar.com and provides them with a digital experience all the way through receiving their new Polestar. At the back-end of this journey, we have an order management system that is crucial for us and to the customer experience - a joint heart of the Polestar commerce solutions.

We are now in need of strengthening our development team responsible for the order management solutions. We will soon start the quest of building a new order management layer meanwhile our current solution is up and running. That is why we are looking for you!

The responsibility for this position will be to develop the new system with TypeScript in AWS, serverless, but it will also be helpful to understand the current system built in PHP.

Other tasks you will be accountable for/for example, you will:

- Work closely with Domain and Solution architects to design the solution

- Work closely with the ERP team to develop integration points

- Write both unit and integration tests, as well as develop automation tools

- Maintain a close relationship with Competence Group Leads and Architecture & Standards team to ensure the latest guidelines and guardrails are followed when developing digital solutions

- Optimize our ways of developing and maintaining applications

Who you are

To be successful in this role we believe you have 3-5 years of experience in software development.

You also tick most of the following boxes:

- Back-end developer background, already familiar with Typescript

- Sound experience from developing applications in a cloud environment, preferably AWS

- Experience from working with event-driven microservices

- Can write effective unit and integration tests

- Experience from a cross-functional agile team

- Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly process and analyze information
