About us
The purpose of the team you will belong to is to support building advanced prototypes together with the rest of the Design department.

What you’ll do
Together with our team of seven engineers, which has a mixed skill set of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering background, you will work closely with the rest of the Design organization to develop prototypes, so our design intent can be verified and communicated. As team manager your responsibility is to plan our activities, maintain backlog, lead Daily stand-ups, care and develop the group, but you should also be able to work operationally as a developer within software/hardware design. You will work closely with the “Software Architect”.

You and your skills
As a Design development group manager you are expected to have a mindset to always strive for finding the best solution to meet the Design intention and be able to work in a creative, dynamic environment that requires flexibility, engagement, integrity & cross functional cooperation skills. You should also have the ability to understand, explain, drive and together with the team realize the Design intentions in a project. It’s important with documented experience to coach and develop individuals and a background within Software Development, Electrical Engineering, and prototyping, to be able to lead the tech exploration. We expect that you have used C/C++, Python, Linux on daily basis. You need to be tech-savvy both in Software, Hardware, HMI and prototyping.  We also believe that you have a Master’s degree in relevant area. You don’t need to have a UX education as background, but it’s a merit if you understand what UX, UI and what a user journey is. It is also a meritorious if you have experience from Unreal Engine, Android.

Since we are working in an international environment you need to have good English skills both spoken and written.
