About the role

Knowit Gothenburg is looking to further expand and we are now looking for embedded software developers to join our successful team in our business area Knowit Connectivity. Our ambition is to expand beyond our current customer base, so you are likely to be able to develop your skill set together with clients in different industries, ranging from 5G feature implementation, the automotive industry to developing power tools to… well, let’s find out together?

You will most likely start out in an exciting project, in a cross-functional agile team, just to get started and getting to know the Knowit way of working. Your own passion will determine your future and the path you take with us. But to help; we offer inhouse academies in for our different roles, with good supporting network and leaders who listen. Together, we help each other to grow. We also welcome you to explore roles within the agile way of working, such as Scrum Master or Product Owner.

Who you are

You have previous experience working as a developer and have been focusing on embedded software development in C/C++ for the past 5 years. You are comfortable in a Linux-environment and a plus if know your way around Git and Gerrit.

In addition, you have relevant bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electrical engineering, software development (or equivalent experience).

You are a person who is driven and like to solve problems, you are innovative, open to new ideas and like to share your knowledge. Since you will be working as a consultant in a team and deliver high-quality solutions, it is important that you can work well together with others. It is a plus if you have customer interaction experience and don't mind doing some fun Knowit network mingling.

As we harbor many nationalities and work with global clients, you need to be comfortable with using English as your working language. Professional proficiency in Swedish is a plus.
