For our Consultant Software Department, we are currently looking for skilled developers with strong design focus who wants to work in a cross functional team.

One of our largest clients develops Mobile Core Network nodes with market leading functionality, designed for cost effective, reliable and secure operations. NDO GW (Node Development Organization Gateway) is responsible for development and maintenance of the EPG (Evolved Packet Gateway) product, both virtualized and physical. The NDO headquarters is based at Lindholmen (Gothenburg, Sweden) but the NDO also have operations in Shanghai and strong dependencies to PDU IP operations in San Jose and Bangalore.

Common department have teams and individuals with deep competence in key areas such as low level development, framework and platform. Our software executes in between the platform/OS and the application in the EPG.

The role

Our teams are cross-functional, self-organizing and highly autonomous. You’ll be working directly with your Product Owner (OPO) and stakeholders in a highly collaborative manner. This approach requires a huge amount of teamwork and maturity and is not right for everyone, but we believe it’s the best way to create great software.

The team will design, implement and test the feature, product and system from requirements to production and commercial deployment.

Among other things, Unit/Component Test, Refactoring and Continuous Delivery are defining concepts and we are constantly striving to improve the way we work. We are not perfect and not afraid to say so. We recognize we have many problems which need solving and a long way to go on our journey of continues improvement, and we believe in trying new things that suits your team, e.g.:

Technologies we use and need to master

To understand our product IP Protocols and Routing in an embedded environment is essential. Most of our product code is C/C++, test scripts is TTCN and Perl and Python for environment scripts.

We are interested in candidates from any background as long as you have keen understanding of embedded software development and a passion to learn and develop new competences. Here is a (not exclusive) list of technologies that we currently use:

Qualifications

- MSc level in Computer Science or the equivalent level of knowledge

- Fluent in English, written and oral.
