What you will do
Your daily work will primarily be filled with development and implementation of complete solutions within the cloud, or perhaps optimizing legacy applications to the cloud. Our mission is to provide expert advice and solutions to optimize user experience, performance, cost, and not the least cloud sustainability (https://www.knowit.eu/services/solutions/system-development-and-management/cloud-solutions/?_ga=2.4351091.1707472356.1649752376-453520836.1649752376) to our client's development, operation, and maintenance of environments and applications. We expect you to carry a daily curiosity when leading yourself and the client to new creative solutions and methods, alongside the neverending cloud tech evolution.

As a consultant at Knowit, you will work on changing assignments and projects, with our customers on-site or on projects in-house in cross-functional teams from our own fabulous office (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6tSUGQhjgA). We offer a vast array of different types of projects and a wild spectrum of customers, industries, and specialists within the Nordics.

Who are you?
To succeed in this role, we expect you to be a collaborative, communicative, and committed person. Your background is perhaps as a developer with a flair for cloud-based applications and solutions, or a cloud specialist with an interest to optimize and develop modern applications. All in all, most important is your dream of moving even more towards an AWSome Cloud-focused company. We will support you with whatever journey you are on (or running from), but we do appreciate it if some of the following skills are known to you:

- Programming in common languages like Java, C#, JavaScript

- Serverless development e.g. using Lambda or Azure Functions

- Developing microservice solutions

- Developing Infrastructure as Code with technologies such as Ansible and Terraform

- Familiar with Linux, CI/CD pipelines, Docker and Kubernetes or other container technologies

- Build tools like Jenkins, Git

- Agile methodology

Hopefully, you have started your certification journey within one or more of Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and have the ambition to continue so. Specific interest in it-security is an advantage due to this ever-growing area of expertise. You have good communication skills and master Swedish or English in both speech and writing.
