WHAT WILL YOU DO?
In the Core Technology Analytics & Systems team you will work with video surveillance system technologies and development of platform components for Axis surveillance offerings.
Your responsibilities will include:
Investigation of new technologies and their impact on Axis future portfolio Hands on prototype development of complete surveillance solutions End user use case development and investigations
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are now looking for a curious and innovative person to strengthen our technology development within our Systems Technology area.
You are driven by an interest to see opportunities from both the customer’s point of view, as well as what different technologies can enable. By being able to see the “big picture” you bring value to your projects.
We believe you have a master’s degree or equivalent within this area and 5 years of relevant professional experience. You have excellent programming skills, mainly in C, C++, C# and Javascript.
Experience of IoT, cloud services/ SaaS or network security are considered merits.
Very good Swedish and English oral/writing communication skills required. You are able to explain and promote your ideas and solutions to the team and within Axis.
THE TEAM
The Core Technologies – Analytics & Systems team are responsible for the long-term technology agenda within the strategic areas Analytics and System. We perform technology roadmapping; execute the roadmap by developing technologies and assist toward platform integration of technologies. We also act as a competence centre within Axis with regard to the core competence areas.
The System competence group within Core Technologies focus their work on identifying and implementing technologies aimed at increasing the value of the network for surveillance applications. This includes media technologies, cloud computing and communication as well as leveraging system functionality by developing and exploiting synergies across the network. We take the challenges of IoT seriously.
