Senior Developer at Animation start-up Plotagon

Job Description

Do you want to join one of Sweden’s most exciting, and also stable start-ups? Do you love the freedom and possibilities of a start-up in Stockholm tech and love animation? We are looking for a key player to our development team to build tomorrow's 3D animation expression product. We believe you should have experience from working or R&D within with gaming, rendering, or animation to fit best for this key role.

We work together as an agile team, using revision handling and automated tests. Alongside the small teams you will be responsible for both details and entirety, working with all parts of our technology stack and influence the choices of technology, design and architecture.

Plotagon is a unique product making it possible for anyone to make a 3D-animated video and message and spread it socially. Our office is in the middle of Stockholm and the workplace is both technical and business driven where all strive to continue keeping our product world class.

Required experience:

• Senior experience working with system development in a number of languages like C, C++, C#, Java etc
• Experience developing 3D rendering software.
• Strong mathematical skills and familiarity with linear algebra, vector math and trigonometry
• A talent and passion for optimisation
• You are a team player who works well with others

Bonus:

• Masters or PhD in Mathematics, Physics or Engineering
• Unity3D experience
• Understanding of animation systems, state-machines and blend-shapes
• Experience from limitations with mobile or experience from other constrained platforms
• Understanding & architecture of 3D animation systems

People use the Plotagon and Glint apps to share their emotions; as animated characters, short clips or videos.
