Software Component Test Coordinator (m/f) role in Stockholm (Sweden)

You will belong to the on-board development team. The responsibility of the team is to develop ETCS On-board system software primarily for the ATPCU, Automatic Train Protection Control Unit. ATPCU is a safety application, used on board trains to monitor the train's speed and movement and to provide the driver with information on speed limits and target points and automatically apply brakes at over speed. ATPCU follows the European standard ERTMS/ETCS.

Purpose of the job
The job primary purpose is to test software components of our application from defined design specifications and requirements according to the standard and our software development process.
The safety critical nature of our software products introduces special restrictions on design and implementation, and places focus on testability, robustness and availability.
In an international working environment, the individual would have to perform component testing activities and to develop, plan and coordinate a team of component testers.

YOUR TASKS
-Lead a team of component testers within a project
-Support and follow up progress of team members
-Plan component test activities
-Participate in team members evaluations
-Understand and use software requirements and design specification in order to design component test strategies
-Design and create functional dynamic component testing with Vector Cast
-Create static testing
-Test execution and error analysis
-Document component test specifications and reporting
-Interface with the designer team, with the Verification and Validation team
-Verify that allocated NCR are correctly implemented
-Define and enforce the Test Plan and the review process

QUALIFICATIONS
-Good knowledge of Software engineering
-Good knowledge of Software testing
-Good Knowledge of the CENELEC 50128 Standard
-Software development (C/C++) knowledge
-Software architecture and design knowledge
-Software Testing of safety critical systems (C/C++) knowledge
-Knowledge about the testing environment Vector Cast
-Previous international exposure and leadership experience is an added plus
-Bachelor degree or MA graduate in Computer Science
-Minimum 3 years of experience post graduate within engineering function
-English business fluent is mandatory for this role
