What to expect

You will join a DevOps team that, among other things, works with finding elegant solutions within development and support for R&D. We work close to our customers and are involved in the entire system development process, from concept development to implementation and production. The team is responsible for projects and maintenance of current and future IT services that support Scania’s processes.

You will play a central role in our DevOps team and will have many contacts around the Scania organisation. You will be involved in requirements, development, testing and release management. Together with the other teams, you will work in close cooperation with product and process owners on issues relating to functional guidelines – in both the short and long term.

You are passionate about agile working methods, loves development and enjoys the challenge of getting people and technology to function as a team to achieve optimal results. You also see opportunities for personal development in a technology-intensive global company.

We are looking for someone who can combine the DevOps engineer role with being the Scrum master for the team, we are working according to the SaFE framework. Scania uses the Dassault Systems application portfolio, knowledge and prior experience of the 3DExperience platform is an advantage. You need to be proficient in written and spoken English, since it’s our corporate language.

• Experience from Scrum master role
• Commitment and motivation to work in an agile DevOps team
• Good knowledge of 3DExperience/Dassault Systems platform
• Good knowledge in CI/CD
• Good knowledge of Unix/Linux system administration.
• Good knowledge of Java Technologies including Tomcat/JSP
• Knowledge of Oracle databases
• Knowledge from using GitLab/Perforce and Jenkins
• Knowledge of test automation

The location

Scania headquarter is located less than 40 km south of Stockholm city. It is easily accessible by regional train, commuter train, bus or car. Scania's own bus line, Scania Job Express, goes from Stockholm city directly to Scania in Sodertalje.
