Logistic Process Engineer for Boozt Fashion AB

Profile:
You are a dynamic and smart engineer/developer with a big interest for implementing advanced business processes in modern technology. You have a flair for system development and want to combine that with building the best system architecture. In Boozt you get that opportunity. You will be a key stakeholder in the ongoing success of the proprietary platform, especially with responsibility for the logistic processes. You like to work with modern web technologies, and have an ambition of becoming best in class within this field. You?re not necessarily an expert in e-commerce but you likely have an experience with transactional systems; maybe from the financial industry or product development. You like working in a young, dynamic, high-pace atmosphere and will join a technical team of 18 skilled people working close together with the business units.

Key responsibilities:
- Understand and improve logistic processes in the warehouse and with the distribution partners
- Implement business logics in the warehouse management system
- Integration of large data volumes between the logistic systems
- Improve efficiency of the order handling by adapting the handheld scanners and manage the ongoing warehouse optimisation
- Algorithmic approach to optimize logistic processes as routing and stock optimisation
- Responsible for system architecture for the warehouse management system
- System responsible in the overall architectural system infrastructure planning
- Locating and defining KPIs to improve business performance

Your qualifications:
- Experience in working with complicated business processes (logistical processes are a plus)
- Competences and interest within modern web technologies
- Ability to consult with other business units and make a realistic implementation strategy
- Ability to work dynamically using MVC, design patterns and development framework
- You have a documented knowledge of working with advanced database systems
- You have some overlap with our current technical keywords, but is not necessarily all

Technical keywords:
PHP, Javascript, MySQL, MVC, GIT, Symfony2, Centos, Varnish, Redis, JSON, HTML5, NewRelic, jQuery.
