Junior Tools Developer, Firmware Platform

We are now looking for a junior Tools Developer to join the companys Tools team within the Firmware Platform department.

Dina arbetsuppgifter

Your future team develop and maintain the tools to compile, test, and publish the software that goes into the companys products. The team strive to improve developers productivity and relieve them of mundane tasks by providing a continuous integration pipeline that builds and tests their changes on dozens of the companys cameras in their labs and makes it easy for them to analyze any test failures. The tools team needs further strength from a junior tools developer.
You will perform continuous analysis, implementation and maintenance of the entire tools infrastructure enabling fast development and integration of software.

In detail you will:
• Manage and develop tools like Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Artifactory so they fit together
• Maintain, improve, provide education on integration and release tools
• Provide highly available, scalable, automated and supported tools and services using technologies like Docker and Ansible
• Perform trouble shooting
• Drive continuous improvement of tools, infrastructure and methodologies
• Be a part of the open source communities
• Have the possibility to be an evangelist for your own ideas and changes

Din profil

We are looking for someone who is a team player but can also work independently. We believe you have a genuine interest in IT technology and are open, service minded and communicative. You’re also a driven person that works in a structured way.

Qualification and experience:
• A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or similar)
• Good English skills, both written and verbal
• Great knowledge in embedded development in Linux
• Great knowledge and interest of tools and methodologies
• Providing and implementing tools in a large scale organization
• Scripting and automation (e.g. shell, Python, Perl)
