The Role

In alignment with the growing targets and needs, we are currently on the lookout for a Software Tester to become part of one of our tight-knit front end team in Gothenburg, where we are continuously looking to find new ways of working that decrease complexity and provide the tools for team members to do their best work. With us, you will be testing applications that serve millions of happy customers. In order to be considered for this role you need to be a curious and creative individual with a strong passion for testing and have working experience from a software testing position in an agile team.

Responsibilities

• In close collaboration with the developers, test new features as well as bug fixes
• As an integral part of the team, break down new features from the acceptance criteria to ensure the proper path forward for development
• Execute automated test scripts
• Help with debugging and fixing existing failed automated test cases
• Maintain existing automation framework and suggest improvements
• Help design and execute regression test suites
• Work closely with developers and product owners
• Propose new testing methods, tools and frameworks

Requirements

• Previous working experience in software testing
• Good verbal and written skills in primarily English
• Strong knowledge in Swedish and other languages is considered a plus
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to grasp the bigger picture from the end user perspective
• Attention to detail and a testing mindset (identifying and focusing on the important things)
• Enjoy working in an agile environment together as a team
• Experience in writing automation in Typescript/Javascript is appreciated, for example in Testcafé, Cypress, Playwright, Puppeteer or similar
