IT Equities Maintenance Project Manager

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for are a IT Equities Maintenance Project Manager to work for our client .

TASKS
The primary tasks for the IT Equities Maintenance Project Manager are:

? Identify and by gradual stages implement improvement actions within a variety of areas, both limited and extensive:
? DB optimization activities
? Sybase tuning activities
? Other technical improvement areas such as network, SAN, backups, HW, batch jobs etc etc etc
? Trade purge activities (divided into phases)
? Report and DataMart refactoring activities (divide into phases)
? Verify performance improvements delivered by the Upgrade project
? The long term goal is to deliver reports to Risk Control by 03.00
? In addition to a lot of one-off activities, in cooperation with team manager suggest and implement a pro-active environment management way of working, incl for example
? Monitoring
? Analysis of statistics, logs etc and share with Murex
? Constantly identify and implement improvement activities
? Alarms
? Scheduled housekeeping jobs (purge, db index, Sybase tuning etc etc)

REQUIREMENTS
Mandatory requirements
? Lead and coordinate activities performed by a small dedicated team
? Coordinate activities with Murex
? Follow up and continuously deliver on performance (EOD and intraday) improvement activities (not a big bang release, rather
? Communicating progress to management and team and if needed escalate and bring up for decision/prioritization
? ?Prestige less? ? since a small team, everybody needs to help out.
