We are looking for software engineers with a genuine interest in developing software on a Linux / Open Source based platform using C/C++ and Qt in the automotive industry. You will have the opportunity to work on both product development and customer projects delivery.
About you You are a driven and dedicated team player that collaborates well across teams and has good communication skills. As a software engineer in our team you should have a positive attitude, be independent, have good leadership skills, be unpretentious and find it easy to create good relationships with your co-workers and our clients. You prefer to work in a structured way following agile development principles. You enjoy working in Open Source projects.
Skills & Experience We believe the person we are looking for shall have the following skills and experience:
Linux user space experience
Programming experience using C, C++
Experience of using Git and related tools
Knowledge about agile development principles
Excellent communication skills, including fluent in English
Master’s degree in Computing Science or similar
The following skills are considered a plus:
Linux kernel development experience
Advanced understanding of Yocto, Bash, Yocto, Qt, D-Bus, Wayland, Franca/IDL, GENIVI, Jenkins, Doxygen, Eclipse & AUTOSAR
Experience from contribution to Open Source projects
Experience from automotive
