QA Analyst - Mobile Games

Your role within our great Kingdom

This role is embedded in a scrum team and focuses predominantly on Exploratory Testing throughout the development lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities:
?You?ll perform Exploratory Testing (E.T.) on user stories and report progress to the Agile Testing Lead (ATL) using Session Based Test Management (SBTM) reports
?Provide quality and usability feedback to the ATL
?Participate in sprint planning meetings, design reviews and sprint retrospectives
?Help to replicate hard to reproduce production issues
?Manage defects through to resolution
?Participate actively in improving test design & test coverage
?Provide clear and accurate descriptions of each bug found
?Share technical knowledge/potentially general bugs/improvement ideas with the rest of the scrum team
?Maintain a thorough understanding of the gameplay mechanics of the application under test
?Use your domain knowledge to target areas of the application most likely to yield high value defects

Skills to create thrills

You are passionate about quality and able to work in a flexible and fluid environment where the job will evolve over time.
?You?ll have a minimum of 1.5 years software testing experience working in an agile team
?Experience performing system and regression testing
?A passion for finding insidious bugs through exploratory testing
?Ability to generate abstract test scenarios from acceptance criteria
?Possess a solid understanding of different testing techniques e.g. functional testing, domain testing, risk testing
?Excellent attention to detail
?Proactive approach to testing
?Quality oriented, always keeping the customer in mind
?Ability to work under pressure

Tasty bonus skills
?Exposure to Testing Charters & Session Based Test Management
?A good understanding of the Scrum Framework and how to work in an Agile environment
?Experience in working with mobile devices on different platforms (Apple, Android, Java, etc.)
?Experience with Jira
