Senior Backend Developer (.NET C#)

Smartsign is seeking a Backend Developer to join our team and help us build innovative digital signage solutions. Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain backend solutions using .NET C# and Entity Framework

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, designers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration of backend and frontend.

- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Optimize and improve performance and scalability of backend systems.

- Ensure data security and integrity through effective database design and management.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in backend development, and share insights and best practices with the team.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.

- 3+ years of experience in backend development using .NET C#, Entity Framework, SQL, Azure, and Docker.

- Strong knowledge of RESTful API design principles and microservice architecture.

- Proficiency in database design and management, including knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as Azure or AWS.

- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Experience with development using Angular, Java, and JavaScript is a bonus.
