Team Lead - Core Operations

In this exciting and fast paced role, you split your time both as an expert in System Administration and lead a team of System Administrators. You will manage day to day tasks of the team, help them grow through coaching and development discussions and take the lead on some improvement projects. Your main responsibilities will include:
?Line management to System Administrators
?Be part of the performance review with on-going feedback
?Support all aspects of Recruitment
?1-to-1 coaching & planning sessions
?Lead onboarding of new employees into the team
?Facilitate long term career development
?Create and facilitate knowledge sharing events
?Keep team up to date on company information through regular team stand-ups

Key knowledge and tasks for yourself and team members would be:
?GNU/Linux operating system administration
?TCP/IP Networking, understanding and configuration of switches,
?load-balancers and routers
?Daily maintenance of hardware and software
?Capacity planning
?Improvements of hardware and software setup
?Automation of common tasks
?Monitoring and troubleshooting
?Change management
?Technical troubleshooting and performance tuning
?Assisting developers in the dev, qa and staging environments
?On-call duty
?Backup and recovery planning and testing
?Installation/replacement of common server hardware
?MySQL Database administration
?General computer and network security awareness
?DNS administration
?Java virtual machines administration
