This is what you will do

As part of our Software Development team, you will improve and adapt the software tools that our engineers and customers use to create the automated factories of tomorrow. Our customers are the global producers of all kinds of consumer goods, electronics, and pharmaceutical products such as food, beverages, medicine, toilet paper, diapers, electric car batteries, and much more. These are the kind of products that you will help to bring to people all around the world. You would be based at our Global HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Main activities and responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality software and web applications for an e-commerce online store.
• Analyze and maintain existing applications.
• Write testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
• Participate in projects and in product changes and therefore work with a team.
• Assisting first-line support with analysis and problem-solving in support cases.

To thrive in this role, you must have a genuine interest for technology, software, and a passion to solve software related issues and to create new solutions with a sense of curiosity of how industries work. Since working with software today is also about working in a team it’s also beneficial if you have some experience in collaboration with other people and know how to be a team player.

Required skills:

At least around 5-7 years of coding experience, to help you get a good start.

• Skilled in one or more languages/frameworks of Go, Java, C# and .Net.
• Experience in Internet security flow – authentication/firewalls, would be valuable but not required.
• If you’re familiar with either front-end development, Docker, CI/CD would be a bonus.
• Fluency in English will be essential for talking to colleagues, and if you also speak Swedish, it will help you to get to know the team faster
• If you have any experience or knowledge in the following development stacks it’s also considered a bonus: Python, Docker, frontend in Svelte.js / Vue.js, Nginx, Microservice architecture, Git / GitLab, SQL, MongoDB, Rabbit MQ, MQTT, Linux servers.
