Quirkbot is an ed-tech startup developing and selling electronics and digital products for hands-on learning in education. The business also sells related training, content other relevant services for the educational market.

Quirkbot is a little character you can program and construct into different shapes and forms. Connect strawbees, motors, LEDs and sensors to make your own creatures! It´s a fun and easy way into the inspiring world of physical programming, electronics and mechanics for kids, grown-ups and educators.

We are searching for a full stack web developer with knowledge of hardware development and devops. The role also implies working with content development for the Quirkbot platform.

You are good at:
- Back End Javascript (Node.js) - Python - Linux/Unix System - SQL - NoSQL - Git - CSS3 - CSS pre processors (LESS, SASS, Stylus, etc) - HTML5 - Front end MVC Javascript Frameworks (Backbone, Polymer, Ember, AngularJS, etc) - Develop scalabe applications - Setup, scale and manage dockerized infrastructures - Speak english

Bonus: - Knowledge on content strategy - Interest in pedagogy - Like kids - Into maker/hacker culture
