We are now looking for a senior   Data Warehouse Engineer / Architect  to join our Business Intelligence team within the IT Services department.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As Axis grows, so does the need of understanding all aspects of the business. Business Intelligence is one crucial part in achieve that understanding. To our help we have several systems, such as a Data Warehouse to collect data and Cognos/QlikView to present data.

The Data Warehouse Engineer / Architect will have a key role in bringing complex data together by designing the data architecture solutions. This will require working with the other teams to understand and design data that meets the user requirements.

Your role will involve:

Designing, further develop and maintaining ETL processes Integration of information from diverse systems and applications into the Data Warehouse In many aspects working with monitoring, testing and user support Making suggestions for improving Warehouse usability and implement changes to improve performance of ETL processes Making of Ad-Hoc queries and analysis Being an expert in the available data in order to be a speaking partner to the organization Balancing established data assets with the urge to explore new ones To keep both out systems and data up-to-date
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
To be suitable for this position, you need to be an unpretentious and driven individual that is eager for new knowledge and is appealed by a great variety of tasks. You are a problem solving person who can bring order to an unstructured set of data.

For you to succeed in this role you need to have at least 3-5 years of experience in Data Warehouse, ETL and SQL. We believe that you have an education within computer science or similar. Experience in Cognos, QlikView, Linux, Pentaho and Javascript is meriting, but not a requirement.

Excellent skills in English and Swedish, both written and verbally, are required as we interact with our colleagues every day in all part of the world.

The Business Intelligence team provides data and analysis to answer questions about the state of the company. We are working together with and serving most parts of the company. The work spectrum is wide: technical issues, understand of processes and data and educating people.
