Gastrogate is a Swedish tech company operating in the restaurant sector and we are currently seeking a Product Manager to join our team. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic planning and management of our entire product portfolio, including creating and refining milestones, epics, user stories, tasks and bugs. You will manage the roadmap and product backlog, prioritizing items in them, and will be responsible for defining stakeholder needs through meetings. Additionally, you will work closely with Engineering to estimate the time required for work, create wireframes to ensure UX clarity, and provide support to Feature Leads in delivering the right functionality. You will also be responsible for creating forecasts on when functionality will be available to customers and communicating this to the organization and other stakeholders.


Qualifications:

  • Experience in product management or other relevant experience in commercial systems development in an intensely competitive market
  • Adaptability and flexibility: a successful Product Manager must be comfortable with handling uncertainty as workload may vary significantly and problems must be addressed as they arise. A successful Product Manager must have the ability to prioritize based on what is important at the moment.
  • Excellent language skills in Swedish and English to communicate with management, employees, and stakeholders and be a part of our future expansion into the world
  • Strong knowledge of both business and technology
  • Ability to communicate effectively with software developers as well as salespeople, restaurant owners, and employees
  • High motivation and drive to handle a "remote first" work approach
  • You are a leader and entrepreneur that people like to follow
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and coordinating skills
  • Certification in accordance with Open Product Management Workflow is an advantage
  • Proven experience designing UX for various screen sizes, platforms, and orientation modes: MacOS, iOS, iPadOS, Android, and Windows for both native apps and browsers
  • The role requires up to 50% travel to customers, headquarters, and other stakeholders, as well as attendance at trade shows, press events, etc., and may involve overnight stays elsewhere.
