The concept of solutions being driven to address specific customer challenges has been with Cisco since its inception. We are currently looking for a Post Sales Engineer to extend our Post-Sales Technical Support team located in Stockholm, Sweden. The perfect candidate for this role is interested in next generation networking technologies and in helping customers use and deploy our network management and configuration products. You will gain deep technical knowledge in the use and inner workings of our product lines, and will act as a technical contact point for our customers and their development teams world-wide. You are probably a software engineer with a Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science and previous experience from working in a software development or technical support role. As a Post-Sales Engineer you will help our customers in the use of our products. This requires an analytical approach to problem solving and deep understanding of software development and testing in a Linux environment. You will answer our customers' questions, recreate their problem scenarios, find workarounds and work with our engineering teams to pinpoint problems and solutions.

This position requires: . 2-3 years of experience in software development and product support within the telecom and IP domain . Experience from software development in a variety of programming languages and development platforms, such as C, Java, shell script and Makefiles in a Linux environment . Unix/Linux system experience including experience in compiling and customizing a Linux installation . Understanding the concepts of data modeling . Network management knowledge . Fluency in the English language
