QA Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION
Accedo is looking for QA Engineers with a software testing background to join our Quality Assurance team in Stockholm, Sweden.

As a QA Engineer at Accedo you will play an important role in guaranteeing quality for the Accedo products as well as professional services engagements. You will work closely with various members in project teams to obtain a thorough understanding in application features as well as device capabilities and constrains, as well as profession with appropriate visibility into the process is being used by those products/projects.

You are responsible to conduct testing systematically against various aspects of applications and capture descriptive procedures in order to reproduce reported defects. Report and keep track of defects in the defect tracking system. Keep up with various statuses of identified defects throughout the defect life cycle.

This role requires a good understanding of QA methodology. Some development skill such as Python, shell scripting and java scripting will be a big plus. Therefore you have opportunity to work with test automation team in different levels, i.e. web, mobile, smart TV as well as server side.

Furthermore, as an integrated part of the development organization, knowledge in agile and/or other modern development methodologies is considered a plus.

DESIRE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate has:
- Minimum of 2 years working experience in software testing, preferably from the game or media industry.
- Bachelor degree or higher in Engineering or related discipline. Preference will be given to Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science degree holders.
- Experience from agile methodologies.
- Self-motivated, responsible and a good team player.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communicator, detail oriented and quality focused.
- Experience in testing mobile applications or game consoles is preferred.
- Good English skills are required, with additional languages(Swedish, Spanish, etc.) being an extra plus.
- Experience in TV & Video technologies and knowledge in other programming languages / operating systems is an extra bonus but not mandatory.
- Candidates with more quality assurance/testing experience may be considered for more senior positions.
