About the Position
As a Software Developer in C++, you belong to the Engineering department consisting of about 50 engineers. In this position, you will be part of the Tools Team, which consists of Software Developers, a System Architect, a Content Writer, a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, a Product Owner, a Data Scientist, and a UX designer. The team is working on developing desktop applications used for the design and configuration of the AGV systems. SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) is the main process used for product development.
In this role, you will get to explore the codebase and be a part of a team that is developing a new SW foundation based on C#.
Key responsibilities:
• Analyze code structures in C/C++, define and develop new code structures based on C#.
• Develop user interfaces, APIs, and advanced algorithms.
• Collaborate with junior and senior developers to find optimal solutions for implementation.
• Maintain high standards for code quality.
• Build up domain knowledge for AGV systems and remain curious and eager to learn.
Tech Stack:
Apart from what already has been mentioned above, the following technologies are used in the team: Blazor, WPF, F#, Cake, Git, SQL, XAML, JavaScript, Winforms.
What you need to be successful
We believe that you have great experience as a developer in C++ with good ability to learn new code bases. You are eager to build up new domain knowledge for AGV-systems and are in general curious and like to learn new things. Linguistically you are fluent, written and spoken, in English.
Besides this, collaboration skills are very important as you will be working a lot with both junior and senior developers to find good solutions for the implementation. You like to share your experience within the team and learn from others. You have high standards for code quality and are motivated by challenging tasks. Some meritorious qualifications include experience as a developer in C#, experience in Windows application development, and knowledge in WPF and Blazor.
