We focus on having satisfied employees, they are the heart and soul of our organization and we are now looking to expand our team with more competent personnel and are currently looking for an Experienced Embedded Software Developer for our customer within the automotive industry in Eskilstuna.

Work description:
We are looking for an Experienced Embedded Software Developer with the ambition to join a dynamic group that has to develop the Software Architecture, design the software and the tool framework to support Volvo Powertrain Basic SW (Physical signals conversion, Actuator control, Diagnostic, Scheduling, Power Up/Down?). As part of the Basic Software, the group is also responsible for Software documenta-tion and Software configuration framework. The group is organized in a cross-functional way according to Agile/SCRUM principles; the work is distributed among the stakeholders and covers requirement breakdown, system/function design, s/w.

Main Activities are:
- Requirement breakdown.
- Design Software including Architectural Design in C code
- Verification of defined technical solutions
- Build SW functionality (download the software to the different embedded control systems target Electronic Units)
- Debug and test on PC using Lauterbach Trace32
- Build Software Design Documentation and specification.
- Support technical Embedded Software Investigations
- Manage Basic Software Configuration. ? Drive Architecture updates and enhance Embedded SW solutions.

Skills required:
Master degree or similar in Embedded Software development with interest and good knowledge in electronics. Knowledge in automatics engineering and/or mechatronics is a plus. Relevant experiences from industry in similar area with knowledge in software development for embedded system are meriting. Fluent in programing embedded real time systems in C. Fluent in XML information and knowledge in processing and formatting through XSL Style sheet is a plus. Fluent in C Knowledge of Python. Competences in embedded software architecture, design and verification Ability to manage software product lifecycle management Ability to build framework for software documentation and information management. Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written The work requires skills in both teamwork and individual work, autonomy and ability to work in a team is key. Open-minded and pro-active, structured and a drive to take the lead is an advantage We need a person capable of driving SW change management initiative cross groups. Previous Experience in Powertrain Electrical Platform Software will be a merit valued heavily (big turnover in our group today) Autosar knowledge Experienced will be valued too.
