Your future team
The line organization is responsible for the development of SaaS and PaaS solutions within device life cycle management area, which are used by the majority of Axis customers and partners worldwide. Device management refers to the processes involving the provisioning and authenticating, configuring, maintaining, monitoring and diagnosing connected device operating as part of a surveillance system. Providing reliable and effective device management solutions is critical in keeping the devices connected, up-to-date and secure.
In our team we are about 15 skilled and motivated engineers with great diversity and good team spirit.
Your role
As a Software Engineer, you will work in an autonomous agile team of five engineers. Your main tasks will be:
* Understand the requirements from product manager, design and develop device management software.
* Go will be the main programming language, sprinkled with some Python.
* The role has the possibility, at times, to go to conferences and customer meetings.
Who you are

Additionally, we prefer that you have the following background and skills:
* Bachelor or Master of Engineering in Computer Science or equivalent
* An agile mindset and understanding of DevOps and the value of early and automated testing.
* Experience in working in Linux development environment using various tools such as Git and Docker.
* Bonus points for experience with AWS cloud development.
* Bonus points for experience with databases, SQLs and no-sqls. APIs such as REST, GraphQL.
* Experience with front-end would be a plus.
